Brief Bio:
My name is Ms. Erica Shepherd. I am thrilled to say this is my 5th year being a part of the Pike County School Systems and my 4th year of serving as a Special Education teacher here at Pike County High School. I am the mother of two loving daughters, Ashlyn (12) and A’Niya (2). I grew up in the small town of Goshen, Alabama. I am a proud graduate of Goshen High School. I closed my final chapter at Goshen High School as a student with the magnificent graduating CLASS OF "2000." In 2006, I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Concordia College Selma. In 2009, I received my Masters degree in Business Administration from South University. In May 2021, I received another Masters Degree in Special Education from Auburn University Montgomery.
Before making my transition into the Education field, I served as Director of a Home Health Agency for 7 years in Troy, Alabama and an Administrative Assistant/Contract Specialist for Coca-Cola (Chambers Bottling Company) located in Huntsville, Alabama for 4 years.
Working aside children has always been a passion of mine. As a product of the Pike County School Systems, I find it rewarding to give back to my community and assist our students in achieving all of their dreams and goals in life. This year, I am excited to continue serving the students of Pike County High School. I look forward to another great year cheering on our Bulldogs in all their endeavors. LETS GO BULLDAWGS!!!!!
